Ekantha Seva is also called as Pavalimpu Seva or Panupu Seva. And Ekantha Seva is the last Seva which is performed to Sri Lord Venkateshwara Swamy. Sri Bhoga Srinivasa Murthi places the silver main idol of Swami in the golden cot.
First, Golden silk cot will arrange to a roof with the help of Silver chains and silk bed and pillow will place on a golden cot. And the Tarigoda Vengamamaba family members will decorate the floor around the golden cot with Rangavali and also arrange the Perales Harathi plate to Yakamgi. After that, they will come out of the temple.
Then the priests will arrange Deepams in front of the Sannidhi Golla Mancham after that they can put off the two akanda deepams that are arranged to see Lord Venkateswara Divya Mangala Swarupam. Next, the group of people plays the pleasant instrumental music at the Mandapam after closing the Bangaru Vakili with the cotton.
Then the temple priests will offer hot milk and some pieces of cashew nuts to Lord Govinda and Sugandha Bharatha tambulam along with the Karpura Harathi. After that holy priest will perform the Namadkaram to the holy foot by offers to call him to come and lie down on the holy golden coat which is specially arranged for Lord sleeping
Priests place the Lord in Golden cot towards the south side. Now Sri Annamayya family members sing the songs like Jo Achuthanandan jo jo mukundha Lali paramanadha Rama Govinda jo while standing in front of the Lord.

Some Customs before going to Ekantha Seva:
Before going the Ekantha Seva persists can do some arrangements for Lord Venkateswara main idol which is present in Sanctum.
They can remove all garlands to Mula Virat and they will replace Sripada Renu (Which is situated at chin) with the new one. And remove the golden Kavacham present at the holy feet.
After that, the presits can do the Sripada Seva to the Govinda. They will take the 2 full Sandal paste tablets and placed at Srivari feet will cover with Vastra. And take another full Sandal paste tablet and place on the Alamelmaga who lay on the Lord Govind’s chest.

For this Seva there is no Devotes only presits can perform this Seva for Lord. At this time no pilgrim can enter the temple. This Seva can perform the Bhoga Srinivasa Murthi, in year 11 months can do this seva and in the Dharnurmasa month, Srinivasa can’t sleep.
